Little Shepherd Trail to be closed for maintenance work



Maintenance work on Little Shepherd Trail (KY 1679) is continuing this week. Superintendent Billy Smallwood said the Letcher maintenance crew from Highway District 12 worked all last week removing brush and cleaning the trail, but did not finish so the trail will be closed again this week from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

20-mile yard sale planned



A community 20-mile yard sale will begin at 9 a.m., Friday and Saturday, Oct. 1 and 2. The sale will run from Sandlick to the Colson Fire Department and from Isom to Colson.
