McCown takes top honors

The Letcher County substance abuse prevention coalition, United for Substance Abuse Prevention (USAP), is accepting requests for programs to be included in its budgets for Fiscal Year 2014. The Letcher County Conservation District is celebrating National Wildlife Week and National Agriculture Day by giving away free trees. The conservation district is distributing 3,700 free trees to be planted within Letcher County.
