Governor set Oct. 30 as Weatherization Day

Kentucky Gov. Steven Beshear has issued a proclamation joining the U.S. Department of Energy in naming October 30 as National Weatherization Day. Gavin Eldridge turned four years old on Oct. 22. He is the son of Ashley and Justin Eldridge of Mayking. He will celebrate his birthday Oct. 28 at the Letcher County Recreation Center with family and friends.
